Saturday was quite an eventful one, went to watch Cassandra and When she Die gig, it was amazing, truely enjoyed myself. Not forgeting those bands that played before them. This kickass band had me stomping my foot hard! There were a couple of times when i badly wanted to bodysurf and stagedive, but didn't had the guts to! As usual i would stand at the side of the stage and watch, i prefer it that way so that i would not get distracted by the rowdy crowd, it's so much more fun.
soafter the gig, was wondering around outside, saw cassadra vocalists, took a photo with them, (woot woot!!) cute vocalist! hahahaaaa neway after which we headed to town got some food, the rest went to watch x-men, i was too tired to do anything, headed straight home!
Sunday was our first recording day, all of us were very excited to head to the studios, been waiting for this day to come, talk to the sound engeneer, Lawrence, on how we would want to go about on our sounding and all, our song references and so on. He's doing a pretty goodjob on that. So bud started out his drum track, got one song down already, looking forward to next week! woohooo can't wait!

it's the same as being in a dream, you observe the dream with dream senses, you reason with dream logic, you have dream memories of a dream past, you have a dream concept of normality.
ever consider the possibility that when you remember this reality in a dream, it seems, you know, really weird?

Yesterdays' gig at IJ's was like Jacuzzi, it wasn't like sauna anymore, that was how hot it was in there. But nevertheless, I enjoyed myself so much the gig was well organised, much credits goes out to Ashuruff and gang, and a big thank you to them for letting us play this show! (play, stop, rewind). I screwed up so much on Green Corn it was embarassing especially when the crowd responded well to the song. But i was really satisfied with the sounding. Can't wait for the videos to come in.
Goody news up next! Misissued will be heading to the recording studio on the 27th of May. We will be recording about 5 songs, a great leap for us after all the hard work we've put in. This would be our first time recording, we don't know what to expect, i guess we should just have fun doing it, worrying would probably affect our performances. heh.
Oh not to forget something eventful happened on saturday. Rancour finally launched their album(last cabin) it was refreshing to see them again! they were as good as ever, thinking back of it, it was Rancour that had brought us to what we are as a band today, they were our idols till today, so thank you for this few years we've shared and definitely more to come! oh and if theres any of you who wants to purchase their album, contact them.. they have myspace.. so u can add them and send them a message or something.

BBQ at east coast yesterday was awesome.. juicy oily chicken wings, fish fillet, beehoon and a dumped in the sea!..Why am i always being bullied by the guys at my work place?!?!But anyway, what was more awesome was the Punkrock returns3 gig held at substation a week ago! i haven't had so much fun in a long time, especially performing! well for those who wish to watch a clip or 2 can view it at www.gigvideos.com. under the section punkrock returns3 (misissued) there are videos of other bands too so plz check them out!

Well... after 5 days of pure awesome fun holiday in Hong Kong it sucks to be back in singapore. i'm all tired and exhausted but i shall recap on this very enlightening trip. i guess i couldn't resist myself from buying a couple of slip-ons. they have like every single type u can ever find..
wednesday evening we got off the flight took the subway to Kowloon, we didn't know it cost us like 150hk$$ untill the third day, when we realise that our octopus ticket we bought ran out after 2 bus rides. we went for dinner we din really got such local fancy dish we got somehting to fill our stomach than we headed back to the hostel. U noe wat i can't really remember wat we did juz check out the pictures.

Boooo... helloo i'm finaly back from a long hiatus. I'm dropping dead really soon, work has suck all the energy out of me. At least i will get to enjoy after all of the hard work! I will be heading to hongkong to catch NOFX asia tour, and alongside with it, shop! shop! shop! I am pretty excited about the food i will be handling. How crazy can it be? Oh anyway today is deepavali, will still be working.
Pictures of hongkong will be up soon after my return. Or maybe even luckier we'll have a few fat mike photos uploaded too!
I was awaken in shock this morning by my mother, whom she broke the news of aunty Grace passing, Aunty Grace is my mom's best friend since her childhood days and also her 'mahjong Kaki'. I always remember seeing her in singapore swimming club heaading to the jackpot room with mom, yakking almost about anything, at the same time smoking heavily! I remembered at around 7 or 8, we were in club, and she brought us for bowling, that was the first time i bowled. I remebered being so excited about it. It's such a fucked up feeling knowing that i will no longer see her in club again. RIP Grace Seow.

HappyBirthdayBUDdy!! 
We celebrated Bud's birthday yesterday bought him a cake and feast out at lao pa sat. Had like about 8 dishes of food. It was great i almost couln't help but to pack my favourite sea food, cockles! but than i felt it wouldn't be as fresh anymore. than we headed to cut the birthday cake, i swear by that time my tummy could have exploded after all the gorging and the desserts!
After dinner we met up with Jai(overthrown) hang out for a bit, and than we headed down to Lee for jamming. I saw Overthrown jammed for a while i can't wait for their album to be out. Dol made a new song, the melody got stuck in my head.
Alright i got tons of school work to do, i'm going to lose my mind here. I need to set up some kinda work timetable. I need some damn discipline!! Yesterday i was so ready to start on my storybook but wat on hell is happening i am like blogging happily, the submission date would be this friday and i have like a thousand and one things still not done! how is this happening?? Geezz...

or maybe I really do need some sleep. I'm sure when I read this later on I will be completely horrified that I allowed such behavior from myself.

arghh!! Schoolwork is doomed. i've got a million and 1 work not done yet.oh wells.. on a lighter note, todays' leftover from Breeze were great. U see i have always resulted in eating the leftovers. But todays' one was exceptionally God fed. I had soft-shell crabs, juicy oily springrolls, potato omelette, satay without the sauce, n more springrolls!. I;ve been craving Ben Harper's music while at work. I miss his voice, his sexy soulful voice so much. how does he comes out with such beautiful lyrics? like the song Amen Omen! i thought it was beautifully written and made. Musicians like him who comes out with such beautiful songs made me wonder why i live my life in such a pathetic way. I guess it made me feel more thoughtful about my life n music.

Well at least to say i've tried my best constructiing this damn thing.. i know to some it may be easy. but hey alas, i'm a freaking lifejournal user!! woohoo i get to spill out daily gossips n interesting happenings all here in livejournal, and also i felt like blogging again.
so today is wednesday, i spent much of the wee hours consructing this blog, n it will be 4 hours time before i head off to school and work, i am tempted to skip school again! however looking back at the attendence slip that the school mailed to me, i am more than a piece of junk meat.
